Ecogas Expands Leadership Team to Drive Continued Growth
As Ecogas continues to grow its business and develop locations across the motu, the Leadership Team has also grown to reflect the needs of the business.
Ecogas has welcomed Andy Bedford to the role of North Island Manager. Andy brings a wealth of operational management experience across a variety of industries to apply to the Ecogas business. As the North Island Manager, Andy is responsible for all operational matters, supported by his teams at the Reporoa Organics Processing Facility and the Papakura Sorting and Consolidation Facility.
With the addition of the North Island Manager, Dr Alzbeta Bouskova Houghton will move into the role of Chief Technical Officer. This role will support the technical side of the business, primarily supporting the design and development of new projects. The CTO will also advise on improvements at the operational facilities and new projects such as the Ōtautahi Christchurch Organics Processing Facility.

Ecogas are continuing the develop a national network of assets across the country that utilise Anaerobic Digestion at scale. These facilities provide a responsible and circular solution, transforming problematic and inedible organic waste streams into renewable energy and fertiliser.
