Ecogas wins the Low Carbon Future Award

Ecogas are honoured to have won the Low Carbon Future Award at the New Zealand Energy Excellence Awards.

The beautiful event was filled with celebration of achievements across the industry with numerous initiatives being recognised. Thank you to Freeman Media for bringing us all together in such a wonderful setting as Te Pae. Our thanks also to Energy Resources Aotearoa for sponsoring this award.

For us it’s the recognition of the journey we’ve been on with our shareholders and partners. Thank you to Pioneer Energy Limited, Eco Stock Supplies and the Central Lakes Trust. Without your support and expertise, this would never have gotten past a pipedream.

Our Managing Director Fraser Jonker couldn’t be with us last night but had already expressed to the team how getting Ecogas off the ground has been a dream come true and one of his proudest achievements to date. These sentiments are echoed by our General Manager, Dr Alzbeta Bouskova Houghton who has been working to implement this technology at scale since moving to New Zealand 15 years ago.
